I salute you for starting your wellness trek.  May you allow me the privilege to join you on your journey of healing, self-discovery, self-empowerment, forgiveness, and love.

I believe the human spirit is resilient and that you can overcome the utmost of odds that are set against you.  This journey called life is filled with diverse transitions, which may cause detours to your destination.  However, recovery is possible with your dedication to doing the necessary work.  It is my goal to help you live intentionally, through reframing thought patterns, and discovering solutions to challenging issues you may be facing.

My approach to therapy is informed by the brave souls who choose to take the first step to recovery.  It includes but is not limited to the following evidenced-based modalities/ theoretical approaches: Motivational Interviewing, Multicultural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My work is rational, but it is guided by spirituality and intuition. My greatest strength as a therapist comes from establishing a quality therapeutic relationship that conveys genuineness, warmth, and understanding to allow you to feel safe and supported.

My various experiences include but is not limited to working with children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling to navigate personal and professional challenges such as stages of life issues, past trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, and self-esteem issues.  To overcome these challenges, I offer individual, family and couples therapy.
